The Clean Cruiser Project began with two rusty Land Cruisers, a couple of beers, and a dream to embark on a 60-day overland expedition from Paso Robles, California to Panama.
As the rust was removed the goal evolved. In the true spirit of adventure, we sought to add to the challenge by completing the entire expedition carbon neutral. We are turning to biofuels and reforestation efforts to accomplish this mission. After a few calculations we discovered that planting roughly 200 trees would neutralize the vehicles carbon emissions . Still, we wanted to make a more significant impact.
The Clean Cruiser Team physically planted over 600 trees to offset the carbon emissions produced by their 2019 expedition through Central America. Additionally, the nonprofit has provided significant donations to our tree planting partners to help fund ongoing reforestation efforts.
For every $10 donated our nonprofit will plant one additional tree.

Adventure is at the core of every one of us. We hope to inspire individuals to get out and enjoy all that our world has to offer.
Our nonprofit aims to promote eco-conscious travel and adventure. We are all sold on seeing the world, but we must remain conscious of the impact our traveling has on the planet.
We have a healthy respect for Mother Earth, and it's for that reason that we've decided to plant over 10,000 trees. We will complete this trip carbon neutral.
We want to prove that you can enjoy recreational travel and still be environmentally conscious.
Perhaps above all other core values, we respect cultures different than our own. When possible, we wish to interact with the local populations of the countries through which we will be traveling. These interactions will allow us to gain their perspective on the world, and how we can improve it.
